Personal data we process

architextura processes your personal data because you make use of our services and/or you provide them to us. We use the following data:

  • First and last name
  • Company name
  • Address details
  • Telephone number
  • E-mail address

VAT number In exceptional cases (i.e. sworn translations of personal of personal documents), the processed personal details may also include your date of birth, CSN number or other personal information.

What is the purpose and basis for processing personal data

architextura processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To phone or e-mail you in order to perform our services
  • Perform our services (translations) and deliver them to you
  • Prepare an invoice for the services delivered
  • We will not use your personal data for marketing purposes.

The legal basis for processing personal data is that we require them to perform the agreement.

How long do we store personal details

architextura stores your personal data no longer than is strictly necessary to realise the purposes for which your data were collected. Data concerning quotations are kept for six months. Data concerning work performed are kept for seven years in the context of the fiscal data retention requirement. E-mail conversations are not deleted, as they can be important to our business operation. Personal data in sworn translations from personal documents are deleted after delivering the assignment and the translation is stored anonymously.

Sharing personal data with third parties

architextura provides personal data to third parties only if this is required in order to perform our agreement or to observe a legal obligation. Third parties, such as our accountant and the hosting company of our website and e-mail services, may have access to your data for administrative purposes. All these parties comply with the GDPR.

Cookies or similar techniques we use

architextura only uses technical and functional cookies, as well as analytical cookies which do not invade your privacy. A cookie is a small text file which is placed on your computer, tablet or smartphone the first time you visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the correct technical functioning of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website functions correctly and that your preferred settings are remembered. They also help to optimise our website. You can reject cookies by setting up your browser so that it will no longer save cookies. In addition, you can remove all information stored previously via the settings of your browser.

Inspecting, changing or removing data

You have the right to inspect or correct your personal data, or to have them removed. Additionally, you have the right to withdraw your permission for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by architextura and you have the right to data portability. To request inspection, correction, removal or transfer of your personal data, or to withdraw your permission for processing your personal data, please e-mail info@architextura.eu. We will respond as quickly as possible, but within four weeks, to your request, and architextura would like to remind you that you can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (in the Netherlands) or the supervisory body in the country where you reside.

How we secure personal data

architextura takes protection of your data seriously and takes suitable precautionary measures to counteract misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unauthorised disclosure and unauthorised changes. Should there be any differences between the Dutch version of this privacy statement and a version in another language, the Dutch version prevails.
